Soooo
I recently posted about getting a new piggy on Saturday, well I'm now getting two! :P
I'm a complete sucker when it comes to things like this!
Their both Lunkarya, ones a boar & the others a sow! The lady said they lived together so I didn't want to split them up.. Their both just over 1 years old
Their sows coat is a lot shorter as the boar apparently grooms her a lot.

This is the boar

And this is the sow :)

I guess all I need now are names!
Any suggestions? :luv:

Beautiful piggies. I am sure names will come to you very quickly once they arrive home and their personalities become apparent. What names do they have at the moment?

The females called Cherry and the males called Justin XD

They need a Ross and Demelza or Treacle and Toffee. Before my boars came home they were going to be Oliver and Spike from Charles Dickens Oliver Twist but Peanut on further acquaintance was just not an Oliver. Spike had to be Spike (see his back, avatar pic) Peanut just came about over the next few days because he is! The names don't go as a pair but they answer to them now so no going back.

Good morning Rosiehardy,
Those 2 are absolutely amazing!
I've just showed them to my 8 year old and he's suggested (please don't be offended) Tilly & Tumbleweed!

Oh I love Tumbleweed!
I have a Pygmy hedgehog called Tilly :p
I was thinking of calling the Girl Cherry Blossom?

Aahh! Does Tilly hibernate?
I think Cherry Blossom's a nice idea!

Sorry only just seen this!
Unfortunately the breeder pulled out so I never got them :(
Oh no, what a strange thing to happen! Especially with her being a breeder! Maybe she couldn't bear for them to go. You were really looking forward to getting them too, bless you Rosie.

sorry to hear you are now not getting your intented piggies.have you thought of getting rescue piggies from one of recommended rescues in rescue locator at top of page.good luck with your cavy adventure.

I know! I recon she wanted to keep them too.
I two Swiss boars instead yesterday :)

They're gorgeous! Congrats! Hope we get more of them here in the US. So far, I have not seen one in person, but have heard of a few people having them. I also have an African pygmy hedgehog.

Oops! I just read your post about not getting the Lunkaryas. The Swiss boars are gorgeous too, and requires less maintenance.
