Adult Guinea Pig
Just a quick update from me! It's been all change here in the last few months- starting after we lost my beloved Fuzzy In November, we got baby Hamish to keep Tyler company (avatar piggy). However, at the end of April, we lost my beautiful lunkarya, Winston to a very short and very aggressive URI. This left my now eldest piggy Flinn needing a friend. Flinn is my adorable grumpy old man, who at nearly 5, would never tolerate a youngster so we set about enquiring about older piggies, in the hope we could give an older piggy a lovely retirement home.
Not to be! During that week after losing Winston, Hamish, who since turning 3 months was becoming quite bossy, decided he was going to be the boss once and for all over Tyler but neither pig would back down. This ended in quite the fur flying scrap! Upon sight of each other each pig was chattering so after lots of advice from Wiekbe (thank you again!) I decided to try Tyler with Flinn and thankfully this has worked wonderfully.
Hamish was slapped with an asbo and banished to the lower tier c&c. Luckily rspca Walsall had some youngsters and Hamish was paired recently with Ernie (brown & white merino).
Pics!

Tiny Ernie!

Ernie lets Hamish boss him around and Ernie is happy to follow so fingers crossed!
