About a month ago my Biscuit died leaving a lonely Ginger (his brother). My friend who gave me my piggies kept their sister who turned to be their brother! My two were meant to be girls too but GBH rescue put me right when I got my bunnies from them. Well anyway their brother became a dad (as he was living with a sow as they thought he was a she) so my friends gave me the baby this time correctly sexed as a boar. For obviously reason I was reluctant to put uncle and nephew together but today I pur Ginger in with Cinnamon and they started purring, next baby Cinnamon starting to 'piggyback' his uncle and when I removed him he showed he was definitely a boy! Panic set in was Ginger an uncle or an aunt?, no matter how much I tried to check, he not oblige with the best evidence I needed ! So I checked websites for pigtures still could not decide and then all of a sudden Ginger produced the evidence and wee'd on me! So uncle and nephew are cuddled together in the pigloo.

Question: Can I leave them together overnight?

lol that's quite a story! I can't wait to see some pigtures, they sound fabulous! It doesn't seem like your friend is very good at sexing, but at least they've both proven to be males! The 'piggyback' was them getting to know each other and trying to assert some dominance. If they're not fighting and they've bonded like it sounds they have then they'll be fine for overnight.

Haha, mine did the piggyback thing. Terrified me. I spent the whole day triple checking that they WERE boys. O0 oubt they appreciated that very much.

haha my sows did the piggyback thing too but they are definitely both female - checked by Vedra at CCT!

What a lovely story and glad they are getting on so well. All guineas hump each other to show dominance even sows. ;)
