New piggy coming....I think

Not sure is good idea though
I will have two 2x3.5 grid c&c cages that can be put together to make a very BIG ONE. Only concern is will have to get one of them fixed...probably will be my boar since he has undescended testicle. I dont want anything to happen to him. He is my first piggy and a very loving little man...will I be able to hold them for lap time together once they are, hopefully bonded. Thats a concern also. What if they dont bond. This is a hard decision.Any suggestions?

Forgive me, I have lost track. Who have you got and where? How many boars? And who is the new piggy?
 
I currently have a boar. Will possibly take a new sow. Which gender will have less difficty if either, a boar being neutered or sow spayed.

I think a boar being neutered is the safer of the two options. You will need to keep them separate for 6 weeks after your boars operation otherwise you will risk pregnancy. Glad you are planning to get your little man a companion!
 
A neutering operation on a boar is far less invasive than spaying a sow. Spaying should only be done for medical purposes on the advice of a vet. Remember neutering a boar doesn't change behaviour in any way like it does a dog or a cat it just takes away the ability to have babies.

My thought as the rest of you would be to neuter PIGGLY Wiggly. Not liking the idea at all. Because he has an undestended testicle was planning on it.vet wants to wait until weighs 2 pounds
