I decided to get another guinea pig after one of my Piggy's passed away after surgery.
They are both males. I am having trouble with them when they are together they fight!
Does anyone have any tips that could help them become more nicer to one and other. Thanks

Hi! Key to any successful piggy bond is mutual liking and character compatibility. You are in with about a slightly over 50% change if you do not let your single boy choose his new friend. It is the same if you stick two people in a small office and expect them to become instant best friends for life - it doesn't work like that and there is unfortunately nothing you can do that makes them fall in love with each other. :(

Have you conducted the introduction on neutral ground and are you aware of the difference between dominance behaviour and full-on fights?

By now they have made pretty much made up their minds, so the best would be to keep them next to each other with interaction through the bars, so they have each got their territory but can still have all the interaction and stimulation they really need! We have got a fair number of can't live together but can't live apart bonded next door boar pairs on the forum.
