They have now been seperated but i feel SO SO bad and why does this keep happening to me? those who have loads of piggys how do you make them get a long? 8...

Junior now looks so sad in a massive cage on his own :(

thats awful. i hope Junior is ok. Poor you aswel must of been a shock. I'm afraid i know nothing about the problem your having with th snotty nose but i hope someone can help you asap.x

I cant actualy see anything that looks like snot
All I can see is what looks like there has been a fight and junior has come off the worst.

Is Junior breathing ok?

I agree, nostrils themselves look clean and clear

yes Junior is breathing fine and its round his nostrels thats looks like dried on snot sorry its green and just like snot sorry but the only way to describe it. I have bathed most of it off, but he wasnt up for sitting still much longer and didnt want to upset him anymore than he must already be :(

the picture isnt as clear as it is in r/l but where the green arrow is looks just like a childs snotty nose where the mucus has dried all hard and crusty

Was his nose okay when you got him? ?/ It reminds me of that picture that somebody posted on here a few weeks ago of a piggy with a sore on his nose and it was fungal I think if I remember rightly. I think she got something from gorgeous guineas to treat it.

yes it was fine and this is the first ive noticed at first i thought it looked like food that had dired on but on a closer look it looks just like dried mucus :)>>> poor little man :(

thanks for that but its more 'bitty' and all over the nose area rather than in one spot and its not the same colour, will see how he gets on thanks anyway though

how's he looking now?i've got four sows together and i think its easier to bond girls. i have one boar that'll have the snip and hopefully be bonded with them. my advice is not to rush them, put their cages next to each other, then put them in runs next to each other, then in a big run together for a short time, then gradually build their time together up. put them in a fully clean and neutral cage, best of luck x
