okay so I've got piggy fever and really want another one, at the moment I've got 2 boars, they are bonded and get along and one is dominant the other one knows his place, my question I want another one can you keep boars in threes or is it better to have 4? and is it better To get a baby? or older one? thanks :)

nooooooo you can't bond 3 boars Or 4. You can have a harem of ladies & neutered a boar, it would be a shame if you have quite a strong with your 2. Be careful any more than 2 & you could end up with vicious bloody fights.

Please don't add any boars to an existing pair!
Trios and quartets are the most unstable combination, especially when all boys are sub-adults. It is a recipe for disaster with a near total fail rate guaranteed! I know that the temptation is always very great, but please let your head rule over your heart.
Adding More Guinea Pigs Or Merging Pairs – What Works And What Not?

If you want more piggies, I would strongly recommend that you wait and see how your existing pair weathers the teenage months when they stop being cute little babies first and foremost. If your current boys fall out during that time, then you have to find other solutions, which may involve more guinea pigs.

By buying another (separately kept) pair now, you limit your options for dealing with teenage problems. Neutering operations are not cheap, but spayed sows can be difficult to find. There are no spaying rescues in the UK and only a few in the US, plus one in Canada and one in new Zealand.
Boar neutering doesn't change behaviour, personality or boar output; all it does is prevent the ability to make babies after a 6 weeks safety post-op wait. It won't curb any dominancy clashes or most of the hormone output, which happens via the pee and scent glands.
