New Piggy!

... I went up to Kirkby (Nottinghamshire) yesterday to adopt a hamster and
saw this little girl sitting on her own - so she had to come home too! :D
I've called her Calliope

The girls are getting on well so far, Hebe is non-confrontational and we've only had a little chasing between Helen and Calliope - There are plenty of pigloos etc. so hopefully that'll fizzle out...
I now have 3 girls in my pig area in the garage - I will add Ravy once he is ball-less and will hopefully add a couple more girls soon too :)
 
Awwwww they look like there in guinea pig galore ;D I havent been to kirkby although i live in Nottingham ::) Id end up bringing loads of piggies back - Do they have loads of guinea pigs in ? ?

not at the main place - she only had 2 in, a sow and a boar, most of the piggies are fostered elsewhere... she was telling me that they had over 120 pigs in recently - they were living free range in someone's cellar (therefore loads were pregnant). I think they still have quite a few from that rescue...
 
Oh right ? Wheres the other place then ? So its not the Nottingham one?

She is based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield - off the A38, near J28 of the M1... can't remember where she said the others were being fostered - perhaps Matlock? ?

Can anyone help me?
I am planning to get another Guinea Pig, and have decided that adopting is much better!

I live in Worcestershire, is there any adoption centres, around this area.

Hi I'm not sure this is in the right place :) BUT if you post your own thread then someone may help you out alot better O0
 
I have two sows here that have been rescued and are up for adoption. I don't know how far Worcestershire is from Bristol though. ?
