Can you think of the reason why she is saying no? It's not so much a case of getting her to see sense, it's about getting you to see why she might have reservations about more!

Do you look after and pay for your existing pets yourself (looking at your profile I get the feeling that the bank of mum will help a lot with costs due to your age!)? Could you do anything more?

What are her reasons for not wanting you to have more? That would help a lot if we knew O0

My parents wont let me have any more guinea pigs, but that's because they take up lots of room and I don't have more room for them.

She thinks they take up to much space >:(
& I normally pay for the stuff with my pocket money ::)

Do you have enough room for another cage? If not then I guess that's why she's saying no. Also, could you afford more piggies with your pocket money?

Yeh theres room for another cage :D
& my Dad said he would buy me one

sneek it in she'll never notice. haha. ONly joking, just try talking to her and if she says no leave it for a few weeks without saying anything, she'll thank you for not naggin and might then say yes. xx

Parents sometimes say no if they're still thinking about it. What happens when one of your pets needs to go to the vet? Sadly I have to pay for all my treatment or get my parents to put it on the credit card & pay them back ::) ;D It might concern your mum what would happen if say, 2 pets were ill at the same time. Very expensive.
How many pigs have you got at the moment?

None, Patchy died :'(

It's tough when you are young and can't have things you badly want without permission, but your time will come. It took me ages as a child to persuade my parents to let me have a cat but eventually we got one and my parents never regretted it because they loved the cat as much as I did. I have been a grown up for a long time now and I have 17 piggies. I am also a teacher and when I told a class about my 17 piggies, one girl said "You are SO lucky!". I had never thought about it like that before, and I'm glad she made me realize that yes, grown ups are lucky. If they want lots of piggies, they can have them! I hope your mum changes her mind. Good luck!
