This gorgeous 1yo little boar was living with a 4 month old rabbit :o & the owner advertised them for adoption as she could no longer devote time for their care.
The bunny had been bought as a companion for the piggie & lived in the piggie's cage... bunny is now in a decent bunny sized cage.

He's a lovely piggie, unfortunately was being bullied by the rabbit, but seems to be happier now he's on his own. He's very skittish as he hasn't been handled but he's been eating bits of food from my fingers & if I move very slowly he doesn't hide when I go near the cage.
My friend is really good with piggies & she'll spend a lot of time with him to build up his confidence.

Anyway the boar is going to my friend's to live with another boar @ the weekend & I'm keeping the bunny, but in the meantime I have the company of a gorgeous & inquisitive little boy x)

Here's some piccies, though you might like to see

What a cheeky looking chap, just my kind of pig. Hope he gets on with his new boar friend, lucky chap to have been taken in by you and split from the bunny. Cute bunny too, name?

What a handsome looking little fellow x) Great news that he's got a new home to go to with a guinea friend.

The bunny is gorgeous - looks just like my Bluebell :)

They haven't got names yet.. well not new ones LOL

I'm trying to think up a name for the bunny, might call her Emma or Skye - not sure yet (I've got a naming thread for her on another forum lol).. & my friend hasn't decided on a piggie name yet.

Must admit though, I've only had this piggie since Wed & I'm in love with him already x)
He's such a character.. & now lets me fill up his food bowl with him literally right next to it as long as I'm really slow & don't try to touch him.
If I had the room I'd keep him too.. but I have 3 unbonded bunnies now rolleyes
Hopefully in a few weeks they'll all be bonded.. & then I'll have room for piggies of my own.

As I'm not keeping him I'm just trying to make his few days with me as relaxing as possible so he's calmer for his trip to his new home tomorrow so I haven't tried to touch him or pick him up.
He just needs some attention & lots of tlc but he's such an adorable lil boy - in fact both of them are adorable xx>>>

no wonder you've fallen for him he's beautiful x)x)

hope it all goes well at the weekend sounds like he's becoming a cheeky little chap xx

The lil piggie has settled into his new home & he's proving to be a real character ^)

She's even got him eating other types of veg in a few days - even I didn't get that far lol (he's only eaten carrots for the last year, poor thing).

He's in a great home now though & she'll spend loads of time socialising him & getting him used to being around people and being handled - knowing her, he'll be tame in no time x)
She's soooo good with them xoxo

Ohh... & I decided to call the bunny Emma.
She's going to take longer to tame as she's sooo scared of being touched - I have to pick her up to get her used to being handled, cuddled & stroked otherwise I'll not be able to tame her - although tonight she didn't try to kick me when I picked her up xoxo

AWWW - I am glad that that beautiful boy has settled in so well and is happy!

Best of luck with Emma; it will take time, but I'm sure that you'll get there!
