New Rescues

We'll I was on a group on Facebook and there was someone who posted a gumtree advert of 5 guinea pigs free to good home. They were trying to find someone who could rescue them and a few people had contacted the owners. Me been one of them,so I am meeting the people to take the guineas off them.

They are supposed to be all female but one has had babies but not sure yet how old, they also have a skin condition diagnosed by a vet due to using saw dust from the mills for bedding, they have been given a shampoo to deal with the problem, yet they are still using sawdust

So they need to come in be treated for mites etc and be sexed, I have ivermectin and gorgeous guineas shampoo but think they will need trims as they are long haired.

I hope they're no worse than said !

Are you taking all five? I hope they are all female as you could end up with a lot of pregnancies on your hands. I would get them all to the vet as soon as you get them. You are so kind.

The people who have them were given them off someone else and then one had babies so not sure if there has been a mis sex but will defo be getting them checked. I think it's going to be tough getting them back to good health, not sure how bad they are but hoping not too bad.
