has arrived and I have put it together ready for the guys to test out tomorrow - its too late and dark to post piccies but I am so pleased with it :)

Expect a lot of photies :red
 
I have a new run to haha. My dad made it out of wood and chicken wire... it's actually really great! The pigs aren't so keen on it though, a little wary of the wind.. x
 
piccies now taken, the run was a complete hit with the gang, they loved the wider space and the seemed to feel more secure so did more running about. I put two stools inside to give them two more hides as well.

The run came from here http://www.ukrabbithutches.co.uk/, was really easy to assemble, is well made and a nice weight - so not easy for cats to tip over.

a lot of grass to eat as due to work and weather they hadnt been out for 2 weeks :{

and crystal and minty found a new way to eat grass - stretch yourself out, lie on your tummy and just chomp at the grass infront of you - saves your legs and keeps you cool on hot days on the cool grass

But I am not speaking to my (was) favourite piggie crystal as the little moo tried to bite my arm when I was carrying her back to the hutch - I felt teeth and yelled "ow" and "dont you bl**dy dare", she got in a right strop and wanted to go in the hutch but I didnt want her to get used to biting me to get put in where she wants so I held her safely till she calmed down - and she even started to scream at me. I have stopped fudge (at the moment) from biting to get her own way and I am not having anyone else trying it either, wasnt expecting it from crystal as she is the most laid back, but then she could be hormonal or just having an off day.

aww lovely, if they're anything like mine when they've been out all day they get back in the cage and just zonk out! x
 
its even gone to seed in places :o I have been cutting bits and giving them fresh grass each day in the hutch when they cant go out but it just sprouted right up and then I wasnt able to get them out, felt really guilty about it but then also it meant I could make up the new run ready for the next day off and they love it.
 
My bunnies are hopping there way down the M5 to get their teeths on that grass!

My lot have nommed all our grass.

They had better hop quickly as they are munching their way through the longest grass already. Although with rain on its way for the next week plus they wont be in the run for a while again :( But the good news is, the grass will grow up again - been cutting patches to feed each day in the hutch so they still get their grass, make sure its a mix of ryegrass and my lucious meadow fescue (or orchard grass as its called by some companies) with a little touch of red clover
