With a very hot Aussie summer on the way, I spent the morning moving the piggies from the cosy spare room to the breezy enclosed front verandah - some before and after pics:

And I thought I'd post a pic to show you one of the reasons why my pigs are indoor pigs - I found this python (held by a reptile handler) in my backyard just a few weeks ago, and it's not the first :yikes:

That's scary! I guess these serpents can sniff out their prey from a distance. Do you have anti-snake blinds on the windows?

Holly hell! Thats why i live in England! X

Definitely snake season in Aus, there has been much too many findings of brown snakes in my area for my liking! That's why my lot are safe inside phew! Your set up looks wonderful!

If I was living in Oz I would want anti-snake mines, let alone blinds.....

Your setup looks amazing by the way, love to see a close up of your piggies.

I would love to visit Oz but the spiders scare me senseless, i cant cope with the ones in the UK and they are like ants compared to yours.

The setup looks lovely.
And wow. Aussies have all my respect XD

I love your set up, you have some very lucky guineas. I'm glad we don't have snakes like that in UK, we have slow worms in our garden they make me jump when I see one.

omg the snake! too many venomous ones in OZ for my liking, but that python, I would love to catch that , I love holding snakes, i really like feeling all the muscles.
