I'm very pleased, and proud, to announce that I've joined the world of guinea pig slaves.
My little sows came home to live with me yesterday after I went and 'rescued' them.
All I can tell you is they were born on 5th November 2011.
One is a tri coloured girl with a lot of white and her sister is also tri coloured with a lot of black. They're very pretty girls.
I'm just doing the very basics at the moment i.e feeding, watering, spot cleaning and topping up hay. I've just talked gently to them while I'm doing these things but not disturbed them.
They're hiding under a big pile of hay in one of their hides.
I know they came out and had some of their food during the night so I'm not worrying.
I'll gradually spend longer each day so they get used to me and then I'll start to offer some food by hand. Once they're happy enough to be out while I'm near their cage I'll take some photos but until then you'll have to wait!
I can't wait to get to know them better so I can give them names to suit their personalities.
