New Texel

Any advise on how to care for my little piggies coat, give him a little trim already, some say comb others say not to I've been running my fingers threw his coat it's not tangled or matted so that's good. He's four month old by the way

i never brushed my texel, just ran my fingers through it and cut out mattes.Stressed her out too much trying to comb the knots out.The piggy in my avatar was a texel, that is my fizzy pop

Thank you that's what I thought was best I'll keep doing that for him, I'm not going to bath him either my vet said they really don't need to be bathed and it stresses them so I'll leave well alone.

I keep my ones bum hair very short, and I brush him sometimes and trim him regularily.

Yes made a start on his bum area doing it bit by bit so as not to upset him only had him 3days. He's settled in well tho thanks for the info
