Hi....I'm New to this site although I have used it for reference on many occasions since acquiring my piggies pigs. I've adopted 2 girls from my friends children who had lost all interest in them and they were stuck in a garage everyday with no one looking in on them. They came to me in July last year while they were away and never went back. I think they're happy pigs now....they have the life of riley......pampered doesnt cover it. 4 different cages, according to the weather conditions, heat pads, breakfast and dinner......ive even been known to go out with a pair of scissors and cut the grass......as they miss it so much in these winter months! :o. We've had a few issues over the last few months......Bruisie had a very badly infected eye....it came on so quickly.....when the vet said she only had a 10% chance of saving it I was completely devastated. Well 6 visits to the vets and 3 weeks of antibiotics every 6 hours and I did it! She's back to her normal self. Ive never had pigs before so it's all new for me and having this forum to find answers has been great.....so now I am a member hopefully I can pass some of new experiences to other new piggy pig owners.

Hi and welcome :)p
Your piggies sound very happy and spoiled :(|) So annoying that they are bought for children and then the novelty wears off - piggies need a lot of care and committment :x
It's always good a new member has some experience of a health issue so you can advise anyone with similar worries and glad your piggy recovered :))
Hope you enjoy the forum :))

Hi and welcome!

I am another one with dedicated grass cutting scissors and a neatl cut/munched down lawn...

I am looking forward to pictures of your lot! Great that Bruisie could keep her eye!

Awwww, bless! Your girls certainly, now, have the life of luxury and sound so spoilt and loved. Looking forward to pigtures of your little ones drool

Hello and welcome. It sounds like these piggies have really fallen on their feet.
