It amazes me how different piggies look when they are stretched out or huddled up. They are really quite long when they want to be. Maybe babies look longer as they are not so chubby?

It's just the hole at the top of the tunnel looks small. Just like hay bags they can get stuck.
 
ChiefGuineaPig, I do sew but looking at the amount of work in making something like that, I think it would be more economical to buy it! However, now my children are on their summer hols, I may have some time on my hands. I might think about it. At least, then, I could make the tunnels a bit bigger. How big would tunnels need to be for an adult piggy?

Going back to tunnel width I used to keep Syrian hamsters and width-wise a lot of toys suitable for ferrets are suitable for Syrians. I found that many ferret toys and ferret tunnels are around 10cm wide, so not wide enough for a grown piggy.
However that doesn't automatically mean that either of these octo-toys have tunnels only 10 cm wide. :) It does make me cautious though :)

I can't help wondering if that was a mistake though. That's small and I would have thought too small for ferrets to be comfortable, rats would manage but would find it a squeeze and would probably prefer something larger, and the same goes for the Syrian hamsters..... so I can't help but think that measurement is an error?
 
this says 10.8 cm, assuming it's correct then it's still too small for my big porkers! :) It's lovely though.
 
I assume that the dimensions on this mean that the arms are 15cm wide, but I'm not sure.

The blurb says that the tunnels are only 2.75" which seems a bit small for piggies. My babies would fit but not sure a grown up piggy would. How old are your piggies GuineaPigFan15 ? Does anyone else have one of these? I think my babies would absolutely love it but don't want to waste my money if they are going to grow out of it.

My piggies are a little over a year old. And they still fit! :)
