Adult Guinea Pig
It was metal, it got binned anyway @Chief Guinea Pig
It's just the hole at the top of the tunnel looks small. Just like hay bags they can get stuck.they are quite easily available in the UK. I found lots of sites selling them but all £18+. I don't want to pay that much if its not going to last them long!
It amazes me how different piggies look when they are stretched out or huddled up. They are really quite long when they want to be. Maybe babies look longer as they are not so chubby?
I'll PM you otherwise we are spamming this thread lolChiefGuineaPig, I do sew but looking at the amount of work in making something like that, I think it would be more economical to buy it! However, now my children are on their summer hols, I may have some time on my hands. I might think about it. At least, then, I could make the tunnels a bit bigger. How big would tunnels need to be for an adult piggy?
I can't help wondering if that was a mistake though. That's small and I would have thought too small for ferrets to be comfortable, rats would manage but would find it a squeeze and would probably prefer something larger, and the same goes for the Syrian hamsters..... so I can't help but think that measurement is an error?I found a measurement somewhere that said the tunnels are 2.75". So not big.
My piggies are a little over a year old. And they still fit!I have had a rummage on the Internet and they are available in the UK but cost about£18+. it is fractionally cheaper to get it sent from America via Amazon!
The blurb says that the tunnels are only 2.75" which seems a bit small for piggies. My babies would fit but not sure a grown up piggy would. How old are your piggies GuineaPigFan15 ? Does anyone else have one of these? I think my babies would absolutely love it but don't want to waste my money if they are going to grow out of it.
It sure is!Cute fun! x
