Hi, I decided to give my two piggies a nice two storey cage, Baffy 120 but they are too scared to go up the wooden ramp. Any ideas if anyone has one? They go outside in the day but come in at night and have been used to one level till now inside.

Take it VERY SLOWLY and put food on the ramp, but only as far as they can reach from the level they are on at first, and then when they are comfy with that, stretching that little bit further.

Alernatively, you can try and turn the ramp into a tunnel by sewing a fleece tunnel yourself or ask threelittlepigs or Sarah from Chucklebunnies on here whether they'll'll sew you one for your measurements that can be velcored onto the ramp.

Many guinea pigs do take time (several days worth even in ramp using company) to come to grips with ramps.

I used to have one if these, mine hated the ramp too. I glued sides on first of all and then covered the whole thing with fleece. Finally a trail of parsley did the trick :) Once they got used to it they would tear up and down at top speed.

i took my ramp out after one got stuck at the bottom for 1 day ..

so it now has guttering lined with a towel and fixed the guttering onto the hutch with nails x
