New Years Eve - if you are on your own join me!

Anyway, we have progressed to our dessert (my favourite - hub's homemade creme caramel) and another glass of wine to see the new year in.
There are reasons to put up with model railways zooming across hub's office door to make a loop around his den and watching railway journeys and model railway sets from all over the world... :D

Well, its pouring with rain here so hopefully there won't be too many fireworks around. The piggies have had their top-up hay for the night and are munching happily.

We had a short walk round the Abbey ruins in Kenilworth this afternoon but it wasn't really walking weather. Then I cooked roast gammon for my family and our visiting friend. After a board game we are now snacking (yet more food... ) and awaiting the bongs and fireworks on TV.

Our No1 Sprog is in Oz so has already celebrated New Year on a beach somewhere on the Gold Coast. I believe he's now sleeping it off at a mate's place nearby 🍻🍻😴😴.

Happy New Year everyone, hope it's a better year for all and for the world 🌎 too.
 
I got slightly distracted (and it definitely wasn't orange ginger beer's fault) ended up doing the Snugglesafes really late, and when I went to grab them Cam was out in the cage and was like, "What? Oh! Yeah! Those things! It's that time!" not that he made any attempt to tell me I was running late otherwise, lol.

The carrot cottage is on its side and the paper bag has been moved to make access to the cottage very difficult. It has also been trashed 🥳
 
Happy New Year everyone.
I expected to wake up with a cold this morning but my immune system is working overtime and fighting it. Still a little achy and my throats a tiny bit sore but hopefully that's it and it will be over soon.
Get well soon to everyone 4 legged and 2 who are feeling under the weather, the sun will be shinning again soon!
