I'm really sorry to post, but I am soooo confused with c&c cages. What do I need to start off? I want to give my smokey a brand new huuuggeee cage - as he deserves it. I realise this would have been done to death so to speak. But any help-links etc would be much appreciated.
Thanks folks x

Hello, never apologise for posting :) We all get baffled by things at times.... Look at my huge post count, I reckon 10,000 of that is questions :))

We bought our C&C as a kit from www.candcguineapigcages.co.uk/ and were really happy with the service, we could have I suppose got all the bits separate, but if you have ever seen my DIY it would have been a case for DIY SOS, Vimto would have rang up and complained....

Recommended supplies of pre-made c&c cages are http://correxcages.weebly.com/ that @kimlou5288 runs or www.candcguineapigcages.co.uk/ which I have personal experience of...

Could you add your location to your profile it helps when referring you to places. You are UK aren't you?

Hiya,

It can be a bit confusing when deciding to built a C & C cage, as most of us, use grids which are not advertised as C & C.
If you have a look at these threads which will give you ideas about where to start..

If you could please add your location to your profile, then fellow members who live locally to you, maybe able to suggest places locally to buy from.. http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/...untry-location-and-creating-an-avatar.107444/

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks all. Yes I'm uk, Cheshire based :-)
@hattie - where are you getting the correx from? Do you have a supplier yet? By the sounds of it, that box is a good starting point.....my boy would be in his element with all that space ;-) x

I'm going to a local sign makers over the weekend to see if they can sell me some correx. I've got a sneaky feeling that come next spring I won't want to move them back outside into their hutch after their c&c luxury living!
