Hey guys,

Found the site after trying to find some info on making a c&c cage for my piggies! Site looks fab...and you seem a friendly bunch

So, right in at the deep end with some pics of my piggies.

We have Ally - around 2.5 years old. He's a total mummys boy... and a wee poser!

And Fudge who is the same age:

And last year we adopted this wee lady, Piggy. She was a skittery wee thing when we got her, hid in her house all the time and rarely came out. She's a completely different piggy now. Loves being handled and is probably more vocal than the two boys. We think she's about 4 years old but not entirely sure

So thats my lot. My partner and i have been looking at two for more females which are currently in a rehoming place near us, hence searching for c&c cages as the store ones are just not big enough!

Hope you like!

AWWW - what a lovely bunch of piggies!

Hi and welcome, what lovely piggies, good luck with building your cage.

Thanks alot guys :) I love them too bits but then I'm biased! I'll need to have a wee look through some of your pics when i get a chance, just so much to look through on the site (and i'm at work at the moment but sssshhhhh! lol)

I dont have that many pics of Fudge as the cheeky piggy likes to run at the camera and chew it. I'll have a look through my photobucket and see what i can find :)

Woo more Scottish piggie slaves. Your piggies are lovely x). Beautiful photos hope to see more soon.

Oh WOW what gorgeous piggies you have, i love how they are all posing too x)

C&C cages are great- i have one myself so am happy to try and help if you have any questions :)

welcome to the site... i am also a newbie who came here for more information and to get help building my new cage. I love that picture of him eating the carrot!! soo cute and awesome pictures

Welcome to the forum Audrey, you have some absolutely gorgeous guineas, all very sweet in their own right. I look forward to seeing more about them!

Thanks again guys! :)

You really are a friendly bunch. Glad i decided to join up!

You notice there's some sort of food in all the pics... defo one sure way of getting piggies to pose ;) I should actually get more pics of them. Might be my task for tonight if i get my two new additions.

From the look of your avatars you guys all have gorgeous wee piggies. Will have a look at pics when I'm not at work.

As for the cage, just trying to work out what materials to use. Got loads of ideas for designs looking through the pics on here. Some awesome cages. Need to work out how to do it now. Hopefully be able to source some bits and pieces over the weekend, i think correx is going to be a bit of a pain to get locally.

Awww you have some really lovely piggies! x) xx

I have a 2x5 C&C cage and it's brilliant - really easy to clean and everything. I hope to make a bigger one at some point this year - hopefully a 3x4.

Hi Audrey, welcome to the forum.
How did I miss these gorgeous piggies? They are lovely and so are your photos!

Woops been a while since i was on here.

Unfortunately since i was last on the forum we lost our wee Fudge :( He had lost alot of weight and the vets had him in over night, done xrays/tests/etc on him but couldn't find what was wrong. We decided to take him home and carry on giving him the medication and he passed away that night :( As he was the nosiest out of all of our piggies the house seems rather quiet without him. Ally seems to be ok by himself at the moment so keeping a close eye on him and giving him extra cuddles.

On the plus side, we adopted 2 female piggies a couple of months ago and they have taken to Piggy very well. They were about a year old when we got them and very timid. Seemed to have settled in very well though and we have seen a total change in Piggy since getting her some friends :)
