I'm so sorry, this has probably been covered a million times but a search hasn't proved very helpful so just going to ask the question if that's ok (sorry, I know it's annoying when the same questions keep on getting asked).
I've read the pages about what veggies to give. 50-60g per pig per day, and the lists of what is acceptable daily/weekly/occasionally etc. My question is... if you are giving a slice of pepper, how big a piece do you actually put down? Do you leave it whole for them to nibble through? Or is it better to chop it into bitesized bits (in which case, what is bitesize?) Or is that personal piggy preference?
And do I expect to put it in there and they will just head over and eat it up? Or will they dip in and out? If they dip in and out, how do you know that both pigs are getting their share, rather than one getting too much and the other not enough (except by weighing them and watching their weight, but I'd rather be proactive than have to react to weight loss!) Same with the nuggets, do you put them down and expect them to bob backwards and forwards to them over the day?
Thanks
