Newbie with babies already....

Hi everyone,

My name is Freyja and I am 9 & my Mum Clare who is a little older....

Were new to The GP Forum.

We bought 2 females in December all going well, even thinking of extending cage to a C&C....

Anyways, one of our females has had swelling in the stomach area, after doing a quick search on the forum, thinking it may be Bloat, rush to the vets (in rural France) Vet said it was constipation, well this afternoon we get 2 babies....

Checking dates, she was pregnant when we got her from the pet store.

We have taken out the other female for now but we would like to know when you think it good at all or when can we introduce her back again?

Mum being very attentive & feeding little ones very well.

Any advise please, is more than welcome.

Hi Freyja and Clare welcome to the forum.
What a surprise to you to have two babies. Sadly this happens quite a lot with pet shop pigs. Buy 2, get 2 free.
If you can post this in the pregnancy section members with more knowledge than me will spot it there and be able to give you more information.
The first thing I would do is check that they are both females, there's a chance the other one could also be pregnant or could be the daddy! I'll look for some links to useful information and post it in that section when you've reposted.
