newspaper alternative

Well I really hate using newspaper under the bedding. i find the newspaper really stinks and was wodering if you could give me idea's on what to put under it instead? Does anyone not bother with anything under the bedding? xx

What do you use on top of the newspaper?.If the bedding is changed frequently there should be no smell.

i use megazorb which is cleaned out daily and complete cage change twice a week. been using just newspaper for the last 5 days as ran out of megazorb. was just wondering what else can be used. running really low on newspaper. xx

Just seen a warning against Nezbed but I havent had any problems and I have lots of piggies including unplanned babies after the vet said one of my piggies was a girl turned out to be a boy now been neutered.It isnt always easy to tell which is which so I forgave the vet and anyway the babes are lovely will get sexes sorted out properly this time and have more than one opinion!
