I use newspapers as cage liners. However, my babies think its great fun to shred and eat their paper. Is it safe for them to munch?

yes i agree, i always take the rude pics out, trouble is there isnt much paper left afterwards lol

Oh yes I LOVE the Sunday Times for this, for a paper so full of pee and poo it really is great at soaking the stuff up!

We have a posh friend who reads The Times, that is a great size for cages. I always put any naughty pictures facing downwards in my boys cages! lol xx

Cia tries to hide the ladies "without their vests on" I don't know if he is trying to protect the piggies or if he wants them for himself lol

***written with a piggie spellchecking on my shoulder lol ***

He has been a stroppy boy today so I thought some cuddle time might sort him out. He decided being perched on my shoulder like a parrot and chattering in my ear was a better one lol :). Just put him back in the cage and he is stretched out on his side...think that means he is feeling a bit better.

oh dear lol, i have just had a bonding session with my two new boys....hmmm think Stan could be a biter owwwwch!!

ive heard conflicting stuff about newspaper, i was told the ink on the paper is poisonous to the piggies?rolleyes

I screw a sheet up for them to rip they love it throwing it about and ripping it up haha x :))

I use newpapers for lining my guineas cage, but i would never have page 3 for them to see, its not what i want my young girls seeing:)):)) a few years ago when my hubby was taking one of my guineas to the vets, to his shock, the vet opened the box to see a set of boobies staring back at him, he was so embarassed, and gave me a talking to, it was a female vet too which definately made him blush!!bless him..I never did it on purpose eitherrolleyes:(|):(|)
