I just switched to fleece and my piggies seem to love it! I love it too! much easier than bedding. I noticed they keep pulling up a corner, how I am not sure as Ive tried a million different way to secure it, and nibble a little at the newspaper under it. Will this bother their stomachs?

It is fine for them to eat newspaper. Guinea pigs chew everything! I have fleece too and I love it. I have a layer of towels and then two of fleece.
Doesn't harm mine. Fleece is much cosier for them. Mine still have a tray of hay to snuggle in and a hay rack for feeding. That way they get the best of both 
I was thinking of getting a swallow bin or something to that effect and get one of those log bridges to go in the corner they like to pee in and just put bedding in it. I went to the local children re sale shop and bought them lots of baby blankets. they seem to like the receiving blankets the best.

Newspaper is fine. Mine live on shredded paper and have newspaper underneath. They rarely eat it apart from the occasional boredom nibble.
In fact if you take a single sheet of newspaper and lay it over like a triangle my boys love playing with it.

I put a small granite cobble in the corner to keep the fleece down, it can be sterilized in boiling water whenever it needs to be, but it is hardly, if at all, porous, (it doesn't absorb water like a concrete or brick would). They still pee and do business right in front of it, but it keeps them from digging under the fleece. Sometimes they will climb on it, but it is only 3 inches tall. Mostly they just ignore it.
I bought them some new toys today in hopes they would play with those and cure the boredom factor.
