Next Best Move?

Hi...I have two sister sows just over a year ..... I'm looking at increasing my brood I'd absolutely love a teddy (had them when younger) or a Swiss.

I was wondering, with two bonded sows how am I best adding am addition.... A neutered boar or another two sows (I fear just one sow may get left out if I got a single sow)?

Either could work well. If you speak to a local rescue they could advise you, they'll know the personalities of the piggies they have in. I must admit I love a neutered boy with sows as the group seems more harmonious somehow!

Yes Id prefer a boy what with me having two girls anyway. ... And I have heard that they make a stable herd

Now to find the perfect neutered boar in need of a couple of wives

I've always had sows and am well used to their womanly ways, but I have to say I simply adore my little neutered boar Mr Ted. He's a gentle boar but he keeps his current younger wife in check and he even ruled bossy old Mrs Fudge before she died and they were like an old married couple. I am totally sold on neutered boar/sow bondings now.
