Good luck at the vets xx>>>xx>>>

Well shock horror.....there was blood and protein in the urine sample so it is definitely either a UTI or a bladder stone.

I am so sorry; I hope that an x-ray will come up clean!

They sure are keeping me busy! I'd only just about recovered from Nibbler being ill and here we go again. Everything crossed it's just a UTI, like you said, lesser of two evils and less expensive to treat!

Good Point I'd op straight for an Xray, I usually find I have to Xray anyway any sign of blood, or painful squeaks I get an Xray rolleyes!

I'm giving Fry until Monday on the Septrin to see how he gets on. Then if there's no improvements then he's going for an x-ray on Tuesday morning. Don't want to jump the gun but not going to leave it long either.

Well.......took Fry to the vets this morning and took a urine sample. No blood, protein or anything out of the ordinary in it. The vet also had a good check of the bladder and couldn't feel anything. So it looks like it was just a UTI. Just got to closely monitor him for the next few weeks, just in case.
