lol they seem to get a kick out of nibbling our clothes,it cracks me up when they pullllll on one lil bit as if theyre tugging slowly at it
ive had no end of my work clotes end up with mini chewed holes in them ;D
When I'm holding truffles in my arms he loves to pull on my clothes, if i have a jumper/cardie on he will make sure he gets one single strand of wool and pulls it! :
lol, it's quite a funny thing they do, but don't worry, it's perfectly normal. I read somewhere that they believe they're grooming you, which is a sign of affection. I'm not sure if that's true, but it might be, and it does make sense to me.
Bear usually only nibbles at my clothes when he needs to pee. He's very good about "telling me" this way so that now that I know what it means I have not been peed on in years!
I'm so glad I read this thread - I was about to post one asking why my piggie likes to pull my tops and nibble them, but what you said Kimmie about grooming is a lovely explanation! It happens when he's on my knee and happily making little chimp noises and purring - he then tries to climb up my front, tug my top down my chest (!) and nibble it! Is it a sign of affection? he makes a different noise when he wants to wee so I don't think its that... Little monkey has chewed my fave green top!
