Lol I like this thread! Mine don't have nicknames per se, but when I'm trying to syringe their antibiotic I try flattery as if that's going to work! So they get called my little baby boyyyy, wee gorgeous piggie, big brave boy etc in a baby voice. I'm nuts. And it doesn't work so I've no idea why I keep doing it lol

Trust me, I know what you mean. I try that when it's nail trimming day!
Never works but I keep going anyway!

I nickname Ludwig Luddy and Gilbert Gil, but I suppose thats just shortening their names.

I also call them bubba and baby. Or occasionally for Ludwig, I call him Luddykins.

...and Gilbert fatass... >> cos he has such a huge rump.. XD

Squeek gets called fatty pig because he is getting a nice round belly lately
and Toffee usually gets called Tofs.
I always call them piggie wiggies though, even more than I call them by their names.

I sing the song from The little mermaid to the boys "I got Gadgets and Gizmos aplenty" and then I call Gizmo Gizzie, Gadget gets called monster cause he is so huge and the girls don't have nicknames yet cause they only arrived on sat :)

Lentil gets called Mr Grump-a-lump and Wago
My OH likes to call Bounty Bum Bandit
Jake is called Shakey Jakey (like the advert for the milkshake)

Hee hee hee - loving all the nicknames!

Patchy - gets called allsorts....mainly Fatso, Plumpy, Patchy Poo and more recently christened by my daughter as Professor Plumpy Pants! (Have you guessed he is - er - rather round!)

Scruffy - Scruff Puff, Mr Fringe (On account of his cool hairdo!) and Sir Scruffsalot!

Glad I'm not the only one to nickname my piggies!

J - J boy, fuzzypig, fuzzball, tubs, tubby, stumpy
Spike - squeaks, squeakypig, bigboy (he's small!)
Smudge - smudgey-wudgey, fruitcake (he's a bit mad), podge

Their common names - babe, sweetie, mate

Carmina - Fat fat - because she was...although the girth has lessened over the years she is still my Fat fat. That name is spoken with much love.

Carmeline has never had a proper nickname. Sometimes called the ginger one or the clever one, just because she is. Her name has never even been shortened, which shows how powerful a personality that piggie has!

Columbine - Scruff. Enough said.

Carmilla - The Whiteness. The capitals are pronounced carefully because she is a big girl, 1.6kg of cuddliness, not very fat, just big. (Also occasionally known as Oh My God or Feel The Weight Of This One)

Altogether they are collectively known as my little girls, the chuckles, or fatty lumpkin.

Honestly, in this thread, you read the nicknames and feel the love:)

aww, mine dont really have nicknames yet, though my OH calls Nancy pig Squeeky Bean :)) shes his favourite one and shes the loudest of them all. they are all known as the Piggiezzz, they are just starting to squeek when we call it out to them when veggies are coming their way :)

i have nick names for my piggies as well

Millie is called angel and i sometimes sing girl you my angel by sha**y while giving her cuddle time.lol
Georgina is nutkin as we thought she looked like a squirrel with it's tail cut off
and Hamish is pest but said in a nice way.

aww thanks everyone for all the replies! They really have made me laugh! :))

I have Cookie and Snowdrop....Cookie often gets lengthened into Cookiedrop though when I talk to both of them :)

Nibbles is also a common name for Cookie, and fat stuff (cos she eats a lot lol). Also Houdini as she can escape :D

Poor Snowdrop doesn't really get any nickames! She hasn't shown as much personality as Cookie yet :D

I only have 2 nicknames out of my 4! Isn't that mean of me :P

Whenever I speak to Stefan, I always seem to call him Steffy or SteffyWeffy :P
And my Damon usually get Dayday.
Not sure why. Just easier I guess.
My other 2 piggies I haven't had as long so I guess with time they'll get their names, but for now they're Eddie and Cookie! Suppose they're nicknames in themselves!

Hmmm well Terry is also known as Pickle as he's a cheeky boy, my mum and dad call hims 'Tells' for some reason - not sure!
Little old Doris is often called Dorrie, or Dorrie doodle :)) no logic to that but I like saying it! Again my mum and dad call her 'Dolls' :{
Frazzle is also known as Fraz, Fraz Fraz, Frazzle pops, Fozzy bear, or monkey bum! Or just monkey cos he's super cheeky. Monkey bum because he's got a fluffy bum and fozzy bear because he's fuzzy and looks like a mini bear! Oh and mum and dad call him Frazzle Frank rolleyes
Annie, hmm she doesn't have many as she's fairly new. My brother calls her Bell, because that's what he wants to call her! I sometimes refer to her as 'the biscuit monster' as she has recently become one! She stands by the bars and shows her piggy lips in hope of getting a gerty guinea biccy.

Fry gets called Fryburt or Bubba-F.

Nibbler gets Niblonion, Nibs or Bubba-N.

Patch gets called Bubba-P, Fatso or Minky. (He's rather chubby and is always mucky). The OH calls him Pie sometimes, as in "who ate all the pies?!" Again, because he's a little chubster.

Sneezy get Sir-Sneeze-A-Lot or Bubba-S.

Collectively they get called the Bubbas or the piggies. If I'm speaking about Fry and Nibbler, they get called the Big'uns (even though they weigh less but they are older) and Patch and Sneezy are the Little'uns.

Sweep - Sweepie, Sweeplet, Sweet Pea, Seep (my 2yo nephe)
Sooty - Sootifer, Soots, Seep (nephew - he knows they are not the same guinea pig but uses the same name for S and S)
Rose - Rosie, Rosy Posy, Posy, Wose (nephew again)
Bumble - Baby girl, Bumble Bumble (nephew)
Sweet William - Wills, Willsie, Willsibub

What I find most weird about the nicknames is that Sootifer and Willsibub are variants on Lucifer and Beelzebub - I don't think my guinea pigs are devils, but I read Faustus whilst at school and apparently it stuck with me!]

:)
