We call our piggies, Smigs (smelly pigs, even though they’re not at all smelly). I was just wondering if anyone else has similar nicknames for their herds? :)

'The Babies' because both piggies arrived as Babies Widget was a 2 weeks old and chickpea three months

Collectively 'The Ood' named after a species in Dr Who who 'wanted to feed......' as they always want to feed

Also 'The Mouths' or 'The Bellies'

What fab nicknames :) it’s true that most of them have many. Mine also go by babas, my gorgeousies and my darlings lol. I’m missing them now! :(

I dont think ive called anything by its real name in my life :lol!: ours are the wigglies, pigglies, piggeroos, pigleroos, beans, sausages, furtatoes, squeakers, foodbags, walking stomachs...I can't even remember them all.

All the pigs have multiple, individual nicknames too..my favourite being Bramalamadingdong for Bramble

My two boars nicknames have always been as per my user name ('Qualcast' and 'Flymo') because they are our little lawnmowers ;)
My husband also has given them the nicknames Barbie and Cue. I also call them 'piggiewigs' sometimes when I go in their room.
At the moment I only have 'Flymo' as we lost his cagemate in March. As I'm having difficulty finding him a new boar-friend, he may end up being neutered and getting a wifepig or two - in which case I might need a different nickname or two!

the back herd,as they live in the back yard,or Oakley's ladies, Teaberry gets called wombat as thats what he looks like,a very small one,the front yard herd is called The old Madams as they get on great together but hate any of the other piggies. and piggies ,wheekers, and some names best left unsaid.lol.

I often call mine "boys" or "piggies" or ... "behbehs". (I am TOO a grown man!) Individually I sometimes call Oti "Otimus Prime" and Dobbins "Dob" or "Dobbins-Oh-Seven".

Aww I’m sorry for your loss :(

My social worker was always asking after "the piggiewigs", heh
Wow, I’m impressed your social worker remembered they’re guinea pigs and not hamsters.. or gerbils.. :)) I recently showed my 5 year old niece a picture of one of my pigs and she said ohhh you’ve got a hamster! Pretty big hamster! :))

She's a very good social worker, lol. There's not enough out there like her.

Mind you, I never shut up about the boys, which probably helped.
