I have struggled for a long time to get Nicos weight up. When I got him he was nearly 1300 grams, he lost a little the first winter but this Christmas he was really poorly and went down from 1100 to 650! He got back up to about 850 and then started to go down again and ended up at 730. It turned out his back teeth had overgrown and he needed them trimming. That was three weeks ago and today he was 900. I am so happy for him. I am glad he is doing so well as I am going away for a week next week and my husband was worried he wouldn't know if anything was wrong with him but now I am happy that they will both be ok.

Great news! I hope that Nico will be able to recover more weight as time goes on!

PS: Enjoy your holiday!

So nice to see some good news in H&I section. really pleased for you both and little Nico, give him a big piggy cuddle from us. Hope you have a lovely holiday.

Wonderful that Nico is starting to gain weight. He may need regular dental check-ups & trimming but if these are done before it affects his eating, Nico should continue to prosper. I have a boy who has had to have his toofies trimmed every month since he was 2 months old. He is going to be 3 years old in August & has managed to keep his adult weight at 1200 grams pretty steady.

He has been having his tea on his own in the carry box so he can eat at his own pace. He is currently enjoying grass, celery, cucumber and lettuce. Om nom nom
