A lot of you won't know about Nigel, he came to live with me about 5 years ago and was piggy trained all the way from Cornwall. We didn't have him long as he had an undiagnosed heart issue but the meds he was put on by my vet gave him about 8 months with us. I often think if he had been diagnosed earlier he would have had longer. He was our first heart pig and taught us so much. We had such a wonderful bond, he would snuggle up to me most nights on my shoulder and I adored him. I am having some stars tattooed on my shoulder for him in January. Anyway, on Monday it was 4 years since we had to let him go.

That's so lovely how you clearly had that tiny extra special bond with him and the way you are remembering him. You are in my thoughts :-)
 
Some piggies are extra special to us and leave an even bigger hole in our hearts when they leave us. Nigel certainly seems like one of those special piggies. It's good to remember x
 
Nigel seemed like a very special pig indeed. He was so gorgeous.

I cant believe it has been that long. Nigel was a huge character. A pig in a million. Huge hugs to you both x
