Senior Guinea Pig
Our little russian hamster Duke had a stroke yesterday and passed away in the night. Am gutted, he was only 11 months old.
He came to live with us in September after being returned to P@H for being bitey which at the time was a load of rubbish. As he got older he got bitey but that just added to his character.
Putting his veggies in was always an adventure as he would run at our hands to grab his cabbage. On a good day we could call him and he would come over and take it from our hand gently. He was also the only hamster we have ever had who actually like walking about on his back feet.
Love you little man, go find the others at the bridge they will show you what to do until we see you again.
The pic is of him last night
