Senior Guinea Pig
Tonight our little Pip Pip has passed to the rainbow bridge. He had lived with us for over a year and in that time went from being a boy to a girl and then back to a boy again and so was called Phil then Philippa and then Pip.
He had always had respiratory problems but seemed to thrive after a course of anti-biotics for an infected scent gland. He would love coming out to play and would spend ages in his ball chasing us around the flat.
Over the last few weeks he had started to slow down and we knew it was a matter of time. Tonight he passed peacefully curled up on a snuggle safe, knowing that he was loved very much.
We will always love you little Pip Pip, go find George, Woody and little Haribo. They will be waiting for you.
