Hi everyone,
I don't often log in but wanted to leave a tribute to my beautiful little ginger pork chop Pixel, who we very suddenly and unexpectedly lost on Tuesday morning.
Pixel was one of two sisters who I brought home in February 2014 - the first furry family members of my adult life. A couple of weeks later it transpired that both girls were pregnant, and it was this that brought me to the forum for advice.
Pixel was the most sociable and affectionate of all of my piggies, allowing us to smooth her in her cage and snuggling into my dressing gown at lap time. She loved scrunchy paper bags and dandelion treats, always leading the chorus when we opened the back door in order to bring them some tasty morsels - her wheeks were usually an entire body effort!
Pixel leaves sister Widget and younger Freya, but also a huge hole in our lives. I'm absolutely heartbroken and just hope that the life we were able to give her was a happy and comfortable one.
Sleep tight, Gingerpig xx
