I am very sorry! Piggies can die out of the blue at any age, and it is always such a horrible shock!

But I am glad that Tom has had these 3 years of happiness with a best mate and lots of human tlc; it is usually not the length of life, but the quality that counts. He had half his life in paradise, as far as he was concerned.

I hope that poor Jerry is hanging in there.
