So every night I after I say good night to my piggies Shura and Hriusha after their night snack... I go upstairs. Then come back down and Hriusha is in his cage eating pellets, or resting in his fuzzy bed, but Shura sits at the edge of his cage like he is waiting for something. I'm not sure if he is missing me or if he simply wants some food? I am thinking he just wants more veggies. You see... their cages are next to each other and two play pens connect and so that's where they eat their veggies. So that's where Shura sits and waits. And I feel bad.. I think eventually he is ok and goes to eat hay... but just wondering what might be going through his head. I sat in his pen with him and put my arms out as I usually do and he jumped in so quick and just wanted to snuggle. Just wondering tho why he stands and waits like this and wondering if your pigs ever get sad when you leave at night time?

Thanks,
Ksiusha

Yes, Lennie does :'( He lies by the cage door looking sad. It makes me feel so guilty. I think itis because he is allowed a free run during the day and doesnt like being shut away at night time :(

I dont get this at night time, i feed them just as I'm going to bed so they eat then sleep (lets me to get to sleep if my 2 boars aint chatting away ::) ) i get it in a morning, shakey looks for me..its cute but i feel so sorry for him :( he hears my mum get up and then he moves to the end of the cage which is literally at the end of my bed and just reaches up looking for me until i get up he generally starts around 7am i dunno why he does it but he looks so sad! duke doesnt bother though he's generally sleeping..
