Nightmare trying to find GP boarding in London!

Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a while because my GPs are so good! lol

I'm going away in 3/4 months and am trying to find somewhere that I can get to by public transport in London for my 2 girls, but the only places so far with a space or near a station are £10 a day and I'm going for 5 weeks.

Is that high?

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can't be the only Londoner without a car needing a GP hotel!

i have a large run in the garden and a local vet for emergancys ?
 
£10 a day is high I have started a small boarding on the Merseyside/Cheshire border and I would charge half that for a pair per week and thats food included. If you look at Guinea Pig Rehome link at bottom of the page there is a boarding section, there may be one there. Or try the yellow pages.
 
I'm miles away but they can come and stay for nothing as such,i do ask for a donation to the local rspca though.

Hi I live in Kent but work in Lewisham. WHen are you going? I would be happy also to look after them for you if you can get them to Lewisham one day. Do they live indoors or out? I have a spare indoor cage but also a hutch outside. Let me know if this is any use to you
 
I live close to London too!
In Reading... I would be happy to piggie sit, would want anything but you to bring food, and maybe a nero cage for them as i don't have a garden (live in a flat!)

That is very high! Mary Hiles lives near Epsom, just outside London and is perfect, she boarded my piggies for me. I can PM you contact details if you like? she charged me about £6 per day for 6 piggies! so, depends how many you have :)
 
Just wanted to say that I'm also interested in any info you may have on boarding as I'm also based in London (without a car).

I've also paid £10 a day a few years ago for 2 guineas. It would be good to know anyone's recommendations for future reference :)

Hi I can look after them for you too .I live in East Marden near chichester. I am moving today to a 2 bedroom place so the guinea pigs I have are having there own room.I have four piggies 3 girls and one boy.Where are you in london? I could collect ? Have you got cage for them to go in?
