I recently adopted two beautiful pigs who are brilliant. However, Peggy can be a bit bitey when she’s snuggling into me. She tends to nip me on the shoulder or boob (ouch) through my clothes. I’m geberally sitting still when she does this so I’m not sure why she bites. Any ideas? It doesn’t seem to be related to needing to pee and she always goes for the same place!
 
Thank you I’ve read this a few times previously - I think it’s tweaking but I have absolutely no idea what she wants when she does it! When I say I’m sitting still I mean I’ve let her go to wherever her want to settle, I’m not touching her at all other than she’s sitting on me. So it can’t be that I’m annoying her in some way because I’m doing nothing...
 
Betsy nips and pulls a particular jumper that I wear. She doesn't do it with any others. Could it be this? She also liked to give the odd affectionate nip every so often but it doesn't hurt it feels more like a scratch if anything.
 
It could be that, I wonder if it is an affectionate nip but because it’s a sensitive area it hurts? It doesn’t seem to matter what I’m wearing though!
 
My gorgeous late Pedro used to settle into the crux of my arm at lap time. He would be quite happy having a snuggle. Then suddenly he would sometimes nip my arm (inner elbow area.... ouch) for no apparent reason. I think some piggies just nip sometimes. Maybe. x
 
Mine usually nip when they need the loo. I followed some advice from the thread above and my baby Dudley is not longer nipping me when his in the cage
