Being signed off work has some benefits such as spending lots of time with a one moody pig, one pesky pig and one big biting pig.

However have just gone to the fridge to have a bagel and they have all told me they have not been fed any breakfast this morning. @sport_billy they wouldn't lie to me would they?

My four don't carry tales about not being fed, they just stay quiet when MrsHogg delivers breakfast (after I've already fed the greedy monsters before going to work!) :))

That is a high level of intelligence :)

You're not wrong, I fed the rabbits this morning, and whilst I filled Alfie's syringes for his meds, I put the piggies bowl on top of the hutch, I turned round to pick him up and he'd gone! I looked back to where the rabbits bowl is to see two irate bunnies with Alfie, Stella and Luna sat in the bowl eating their food! I quickly gave Alf his meds and put the piggies food bowl down to them, Miss Sadie was sat patiently waiting for her breakfast. She's put 110g in since we got her! ;)

When I'm on early duty and feed them at 5am, I now leave the empty bowl on top of the hutch to show MrsHogg they've been fed, otherwise they'll wolf the food down and sit there with hungry pleading eyes when MrsHogg checks on them when she gets up at 6.30am.

My OH leaves the veg knife on the side of the sink to show mine have had their morning veg. I get wheeked at when I step on the top stair, sounds like they are starving. I get left the pellets to dish out so I can have some brownie points too.:))
