I am so very sorry this has happened, I hope your remaining piggies are ok.
As some others have said, unfortunately it is in a cats nature to chase things, particularly small furry things that run quickly. Even our old ***** cat Charley used to show a little interest in the pigs when they were babies (more mouse size I guess), but once they were older she wasn't interested in chasing them - in fact, when any were unwell she would sit next to me when I had them on my lap and clean them, so not all cats are evil - but I still wouldn't have trusted her unsupervised!
