Between my two boars, I can't tell who's the dominant? They've never teeth chattered or bickered from what I've seen, and I'm with them a large portion of the day. They both take food from each other and neither of them seem to mind. This seems odd to me. However, one of them got my missexed sow pregnant, so I assume that would be the dominant's job?

Well not necessarily it may just depend on who got there first. Could be that your boars aren't old enough and not reached their teenage years to get all bossy yet.

Okay thanks! The rescue wasn't entirely sure but they're around 7 months old now, they were only ickle when I got them! x

My two older boars don't display very much dominance, just the occasional half-hearted humping. They just seem really happy together. I suspect Bobby thinks he's boss, but only because Bailey is more interested in planning his next escape bid.

We have had piggies were it was impossible to tell top pig also. Depends on the pairing and as others have said the hormonal years may show more....
