Two of our girls Saffi and Tia have decided that they dont like each other at the moment. As each piggy is extrememly dominant this has escalated to a major fall out. This has surprised us as our neutered boar Ouzo is not getting involved and neither is his wifepig Morgan. There is no aggression between any of the other piggies except Saffi and Tia. We have separated them from the group and they have been living next to each other separated by a grid. We have decided rightly or wrongly to see if we can get these two back together in neutral territory before reintroducing them to Ouzo and Morgan. No blood has been drawn although Lisa doesnt like the scuffles that are occassionally breaking out (as you will hear in the last video clip!). There is no sign of illness in either piggy and the fact that Ouzo is not interested we dont suspect that either Tia or Saffi are in season and both have healthy weights of 1200g+ so are pretty evenly matched weight wise. We suppose we just have to find out who's going to be the top sow.

Here are a couple of video clips of the progress so far:-

All's well when there's food about...

Tia finishing off the veggies...

Saffi moving onto the second course of hay...

Now the fun begins...

At present watching from afar they are staying away from each other although both piggies are puffing themselves up. We will just have to wait and see if they can sort out their differences.

A bonding bath may help. It has made a huge difference to mooli and Sophie. Good luck.

Good luck with it all, it looks like you are doing the right things. Beautiful piggies by the way :) I found that the best thing to dilute the possibility of scuffles with my old white girl piggies (Antonia and Caroline were a bit weird! Not like other pigs) was several massive piles of fresh hay. You cant fight when you are stuffing your face LOL.

Lots of food distraction and sometimes a buddy bath can help. Hopefully they will settle down again after a couple of days, as long as it is just scuffles and no blood.
