No Rescues In The States!

i have come to face the problem that i can't find any rescues near me! even if i'm not adopting i would like to check one out. when i do find one here it's on the other side of the country . i live in Ohio. if anyone in the US or anyone know how i could find one closer? everytime i use the rescue locator it shows all of the ones in UK

Yes, it's true that we have few rescues compared to the UK.

This is the only rescue I'm aware of in Ohio, though they don't seem active via Petfinder or their website, so not sure if they're still up and running, or what?

Otherwise I know of a couple in the Wisconsin / Minnesota area.
