Is this a happy sound? We are still quite new to piggie owners world and still cant be quite sure whether he's happy or not. He makes the sound whether we hold him on his own or together with his brother.

He is still a touch apprehensive, but it is a very good sign that the is vocal and chatting. That means that he actually already trusts you, but it is still a bit new to him and he is obviously a youngster. Give him time to get used to lap time and cuddling. I would not at all worry.

He sounds happy. Some pigs are much louder than others when they 'talk' during lap time. I've had one silent girl, one who just makes a soft whistling noise, and three who were loud to the point of having to turn the TV up!
