We have a girl guinea pig who's making noises. She has been on Baytail for 2 weeks and been off just under a week. She is eating drinking and running around ok with the other 3 and seems more out going since she has been on the baytrai. but the noise is hard to describe it's like gunting and a sort of purring has anyone got any ideas what it could be. The vet has looked at her teeth and said they are ok.

Purring is a sign of being content. What was she on medication for?

Sorry I should have said 98) She was put on baytrail because the vet said she had a very mild uri The vet said when we went back for the second lot of baytrail that she didn't need to see her again. Shes not making them all the time.
 
She could just be making noises that all piggies make. Some of ours make the strangest noises but are perfectly healthy.
 
Thank YOU Vicky ;) as i saaid she more with it now than she has been in the 2 years we've had her. We'll just keep an eye on her and get her to the vet if she needs to. It was making me feel sick not knowing what it was.
