Ive had my one piggy for a year and just got him a brother so he isnt lonely. I had them in separate cages for a week and introduced them everyday, then put them in a cage together. But now my piggies are incredibly loud at night! They dont fight but make noises (sqeaking and rumbling) to each other. I cant sleep at all. I put food in there cage and tried to separate them and they are still loud. What do i do ?

If there has been no fighting and they have had a sleep next to each other and woken up and are still happy DO NOT separate them as you will have to start the bonding all over again. The rumbling is usually a sign of dominance and if accompanied by 'the sexy bum wiggle' one guinea pig is trying to show the other he is a big strong boy. The squeaking is only them having a chat to each other and is normal piggie behaviour. My 5 squeak and wheak at each other all the time. It's lovely that you have thought to get your piggy a friend and it seems like they get on well. If they are disturbing you at night, is there another place you can keep them rather than your bedroom? How large is the cage. I have found a few helpful links for you for night time reading!
