Hello everyone, our beautiful little girl Fluffy seems to have been suffering with bloat but she has not lost her appetite at all. On vets advice we have removed her food pellets but we want to continue with fresh food as we dont want her to lose weight or the inclination to eat. Last night she had a few dandelion leaves, some bulb fennel and a piece of cucumber with no ill effects. Today she seems brighter again. There is lots of conflicting advice over the internet so can anyone give me a list of veggies that do not cause gas. I know the obvious such as cabbage, broccoli etc but what about baby sweetcorn, herbs, red bell pepper. I'm also laying off fruit. Are there none gas producing pellets for guineas - she has wagg which she loves. Any help appreciated.

Bloat is normally a secondary illness so I would be looking into why she has Bloat.

Avoid the brassica family.

Thanks. Fluffy had eaten some grass the day before so hopefully that caused it. We are hoping its a one off with no underlying cause but we will keep a very close eye on her.
