Hi I am exploring options for a new indoor cage for my two boys. They currently have a 160x60 ferplast cage but the dimensions of this don't fit well in our room. We certainly need at least as much overall space that this offers and preferably larger, but not necessarily in a single rectangle. Has anyone explored long and narrow options for their pigs? I was wondering if an L shape C&C cage 1 x 9 is an option - with a 2x3 space at one end?

Has anyone else explored different configurations and how have they worked?

No I’m afraid that configuration would not be an option. An L shape is absolutely fine but a 1 grid wide cage is unsuitable. It needs to be at least 60cm or two grids wide to meet sizing and living requirements (regardless of its length)
